Tottenham got off to a strong start at the Vitality Stadium against Bournemouth, under the guidance of manager Andoni Iraola. It was James Maddison, a notable signing for Spurs, who put his mark on the match by scoring the opening goal for Postecoglou’s team.

With Harry Kane absent and the search for another striker ongoing, Maddison has taken on the responsibility of leading the attack. Despite being in only his third game for the team, he has already shown his prowess by providing two assists on his debut and now adding his first goal in a Tottenham jersey.

Pape Sarr, who has been making regular appearances in Postecoglou’s lineup, showcased his skills by delivering a perfectly timed pass to Maddison inside the box. The former Leicester player then displayed his finesse by calmly slotting the ball past Neto into the far corner of the net.

Adding to the excitement, in the 62nd minute, Udogie displayed great teamwork with Son, executing a well-timed one-two play. Udogie then skillfully delivered the ball across the six-yard box, where Kulusevski was waiting to finish it off without any defensive pressure, thereby increasing the lead for the visiting team.
