Chelsea’s ambitious spending spree continues to make waves as they bolster their squad even further. Following the acquisition of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez from Brighton, the Blues have now officially welcomed Serbian shot-stopper Djordje Petrovic to their ranks.

At 23 years old, Petrovic arrives at Stamford Bridge from MLS outfit New England Revolution, where he has showcased his skills in 44 appearances since joining in April 2022.

Marking a significant commitment, Chelsea has secured Petrovic’s services for an impressive seven-year contract, which includes the option to extend further. According to ‘Sky Sports’, the deal is valued at £14 million, marking him as Chelsea’s 11th signing during this busy summer transfer window.

In an official statement released by the club, Petrovic expressed his excitement, stating: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of Chelsea and I can’t wait to kick off my journey with this incredible club.
