Real Madrid’s head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, definitively dismissed the possibility of any last-minute additions to the squad, including star player Kylian Mbappe, as the summer transfer window draws to a close.

During a press conference ahead of their La Liga match against Celta Vigo, Ancelotti emphasized, “There won’t be any new signings. The team is complete, and that chapter is closed.”

While acknowledging the influx of transfers involving Saudi Arabia, Ancelotti expressed a desire for economic regulations to be put in place. The Saudi transfer window extends beyond the standard market closure, potentially leading to European teams losing players in September.

“I believe our squad is settled, and my players are fully focused on Real Madrid. While there could be unexpected decisions, I’m not overly concerned,” he stated.

Commenting on the significant financial incentives offered by Arabian football compared to Europe, Ancelotti noted, “Arabian football does provide considerably more monetary opportunities than Europe. This is an undeniable reality. The situation is unfolding. Each individual should make their own choices. It’s crucial that international governing bodies carefully assess this matter and implement measures to restore some balance to the market.”
